today, I offer this visual Altar of Comfort in which to rest...

divine mother, in all your forms,
gather your sons and daughters
unto your lap of infinite love and comfort...

become our every breath;

that our hearts may be flooded 
with generosity and kindness;

reaching out
with prayers
of comfort, 
compassion
and ease of suffering;

to our

human family...
